Bianca Belair finally got her revenge on Becky Lynch in WrestleMania 38, by defeating the Big Time Peaks at the Raw Women’s Championship in an excellent match. The final moments came when a desperate Lynch attempted to lift “The EST” for a Manhandle Slam overhead rope, only to have Beller knock him out and take the win.
The history between Lynch and Belair goes back to SummerSlam 2021, when Lynch surprisingly returned after her hiatus and challenged “The EST” to an impromptu title match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Then Lynch turned his heels, fired a cheap shot and pinned Beller to win the title in less than 30 seconds. Then, Lynch cemented her heel status over the following months, repeatedly cheating her to retain her title and eventually forcing Blair out of the title picture (the two moved to Raw thanks to a WWE draft).

Belair finally got another chance at Lynch in Elimination Chamber in February, where she defeated five other women to become the number one contender. She then foiled Lynch’s attempt to cut her signature braid and gave Lynch a new haircut in the process.
Prior to WrestleMania, Lynch also addressed Charlotte Flair against Ronda Rousey at a higher-in-the-card position. It was originally listed as a main event on the show, although the clip for KO Show with Steve Austin will close the show on Saturday.

“If we’re the main event, sure,” she later added when asked if she thought the match with Biller deserved that spot. “I think in terms of the story, the only two women who have ever won a main event at WrestleMania are the main event at WrestleMania, and I think that would be the perfect story. Two losers at WrestleMania, two main losers – losers in events, the main event at WrestleMania, sure. But then I think. That one of them, feels like a symbolic gesture that they’re finally going to continue because of the name Ronda. I don’t think anyone thinks their story is better and that they deserve it.”
